Marriage-based green cards
A green card through marriage is a petition, a set of supporting evidence and, usually, an interview. Each piece has to tell the same story. We prepare the whole file with you and get you ready for the interview.

Adjustment of status
Adjustment of status lets an eligible person become a permanent resident without leaving the United States. It is filed on Form I-485, often together with a work permit and travel document request.
- N-400, N-600, N-648
Citizenship and naturalization
Naturalization is the last step for most green card holders. The N-400 asks about years of travel, addresses, work, taxes and any arrests. We review that history before you file, because the interview is where it gets examined.
- I-751
Removing conditions on residence
A two-year green card based on a recent marriage expires unless you file Form I-751 in the 90 days before the expiration date. The filing needs fresh evidence that the marriage is real and continuing, or a waiver if it ended.
- I-539, I-129F, DS-160, I-20, DS-2019
Visas and change of status
When your plans change, your status often has to change with them. A student becomes a worker, an exchange visitor marries, a fiancé(e) moves here. The timing and the order of filings decide whether you stay in status.
